Floral Triptychs. A Photography Exploration

Back in the studio today with my lovely mentor Janet the weather was typically British very wet! We took advantage (or rather I did and invaded) of the delights in Janet's garden.
I have never really had a play with floral photography before but I love to try new things. Using natural light and background that Janet has collected we set up and jumped right in.
Janet set me a challenge (who doesn't love a challenge). To produce a Triptych throughout the afternoon. As these are a great composition for competitions, nothing like getting a head start on next season!
Having never ever tried floral photography or composition for a triptych the brain really had to start ticking. The lighting has to be the same, the direction and how the flower lays. The aperture or it will look unbalanced.

Janet said I passed the challenge, what do you think? Under are a few extras that I took for fun. I will certainly be trying some more and different variations of panels. Hopefully the sun will shine and bring some more beautiful flowers into bloom.
