Portraits in the Spring Sun
How nice is it to see the sun? The first chance I am out with the camera in hand. Let’s hope it stays. Meet Becci, my perfect model in a field of yellow.
I had asked Becci if she wouldn’t mind coming to find some Bluebells and having some photos taken. We visited Chard Reservoir in Somerset and found a carpet of yellow buttercups. Becci had the perfect dress on and the jacket just oozed cool!
Trying to build up my portfolio is fun and my kind of portraiture is not the posed type at all! I just love natural photography and want to make my models feel comfortable. So if you want to take a walk in a field a stroll on a beach I am your gal!
I hope you enjoy the images as much as I did taking them.
Inside the bag
I bought a Fuji X-T4 late last year and I am learning to love it, it is a great camera and so easy to use (I prefer the old skool mechanical dials over menus). The lens I used was the 56mm Fuji and an aperture of 1.4 – 2 perfect lens for portraiture.
Are you a Fuji user? If so let me know what your ‘go to’ lens is.
